Counselling & Social Work

Counselling with Courtenay

Kanyini Collective offers in-person Social Work Therapy and Counselling services from our space in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast, as well as online Social Work Therapy and Counselling services for those who prefer to access telehealth services.

All appointments are one hour in length and are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our Social Work Therapy and Counselling services are provided by Courtenay – a qualified AASW accredited social worker with lived-experience of PTSD and trauma recovery.

Courtenay has a special interest in the field of mental health for both NDIS Participants and non-NDIS clients – practicing from an evidence-based and trauma-informed perspective.

She provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulties related to mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma disorders.

Courtenay loves to work with people with a disability and focuses on maximising their abilities and strengths.

She continually strives to create a welcoming and judgement-free space where clients can feel safe to talk through the areas in their lives that they may be struggling with – while focusing on their individual therapeutic goals and offering strategies and resources to support their therapy journey.

Between one and two clear working days’ notice provided: 50% of the normal service fee

Less than one working day notice provided or missed appointment – 100% of the normal service fee
