I have been teaching Yoga since 2006 and practising as a Yoga Therapist since 2018.
My teaching style ensures that each class is suitable for all ages and abilities, as I offer options and modifications throughout to suit each individual’s needs.
A typical Hatha Yoga class begins with breathing practices (pranayama) – then moves on to postures (asana) offering strength, stretch, balance and general body awareness and acceptance – and ends with some gentle relaxation/meditation.
My belief is that you are never too old or too unfit to do yoga – and your mind and body will love you for just showing up on your mat, even if that’s all you can manage on the day!
